To send Simple In/Out status updates into a Slack channel of your choice, you must belong to the Administrator role. View Simple In/Out Status Updates Inside Slack If you haven't yet connected Slack and Simple In/Out, this command will provide the URL to do so. See our Slash Command help /inout connect Example: /inout out left office /inout help Update your Simple In/Out status to 'out' with an optional comment. Example: /inout in at the office /inout out Update your Simple In/Out status to 'in' with an optional comment. The Slash Commands are always /inout followed by the command and additional arguments. Once connected you can use our Slash Commands by typing in the Slack text box at the bottom of every channel. Then click on Settings in the upper-right, followed by Third Party Apps on the left. From there, click the Add to Slack button. This will take you to Slack to grant us access and connect Slack and your Simple In/Out account. To install the Slash Command, log into using your email/password. If you have permission to update your own current status in Simple In/Out, you can do so right from Slack utilizing our Slash Command: /inout. Update your Simple In/Out Status from inside Slack You can also update your Simple In/Out status if you have permission to do so. Simple In/Out can send all your organization's status updates into the Slack channel of your choice. Slack is a great messaging service built for groups large and small.
